At Adrienne Henry Millinery we offer a hat care service for both men’s and ladies’ hats. In order to work on a hat, we need to first assess what is required and if it is possible. We would recommend bringing your hat to us at the shop and we will take a look. Prices start from £20 and will vary depending on the amount of work involved and materials used.

Felt Hats

We offer the following services for felt hats:

• Reshaping (where possible)
• Replacement of outer and inner bands (where possible)
• Stiffening
• Stretching, resizing
• Restoration of vintage hats

Straw Hats

• Professional steam cleaning
• Reshaping (where possible)
• Replacement of outer and inner bands (where possible)
• Stiffening, also panama stiffening
• Stretching, resizing

Ladies Special Occasion Hats

• Cleaning
• Re-trimming (when originally hand-stitched, not glued)
• Reshaping only if we have the correct block available
• Add new elastics or headbands

We offer a service to re-trim ladies’ hats to give your hat a new look. Trimmings include sinamay, feathers, silk flowers and bands, leather trimmings, among others.
